AU-hosted Vermont Soccer Referee Clinics

Along with the rest of the country, Vermont is faced with growing player numbers and not enough referees to support every scheduled game. The Vermont Soccer Association, The State Referee Committee, and Addison United are all making a coordinated effort to increase the number of USSF-licensed referees in the state. Addison United will host a VSA refereeing clinic Sunday, 3/20/22 from 9am-6pm at Vergennes Union High School. The registration fee is $65.00.

Officiating is a great way to make some extra spending money and support your local soccer community.  Anyone 13 and up can sign up.

Know someone who is retired and maybe needs a reason to get out of the house?  Become a referee and do their part to ensure this great game is supported in Addison County.

Instructions:

1. Create an Account in the US Soccer Learning Center. All sign-ups, online training, and payments will go through this website.  (Help Article)
2. Sign Up For An In-Person Clinic. Doing so will allow you to complete the online modules and pay dues.  Clinics will be mostly held Jan-April 2022. (Help Article)
3. Complete the online modules. These must be completed before the in-person clinic. (Help Article)
4. Attend the in-person clinic and receive your badge. 
5. Create a GotSport account and register with an assignor.
