An Experienced Player and CoachTrevor lives in Saint Lucia and founded that country’s largest youth soccer development program. He is a veteran of the Saint Lucia National Soccer Team, as both a player and Assistant Coach, and was Head Coach of the St. Lucia Men’s Olympic Team. In Vermont, he is well-known for his popular soccer camps that focus on improving technical skills, specifically mastery of the ball. Players he has trained in Vermont have excelled on their high school teams and beyond, including 100-goal scoring high school players and numerous college soccer players at the Division 1, 2, and 3 levels. More importantly, kids in his camps leave with a love for the game and a desire to improve. Trevor’s Role in Addison UnitedTrevor has designed a 26-week player development program for the Addison United coaches he will train. This program will improve our players, teams, and the quality of soccer in our community. Trevor will spend the winter in Vermont with our club. His initial focus will be technical training sessions for our players and technical coaching workshops for our coaches. Player sessions will be accessible to all in local gyms and community centers. The coaching workshops will be free and open to anyone in the community, regardless of club affiliation. Improving Soccer in Addison CountyAddison United is committed to supporting local soccer in all of our Addison County communities by providing a variety of high-quality, local, cost-effective, and enjoyable programs for kids of all ages. Throughout the summer and fall, we have talked to players, parents, and coaches within our local communities to determine how best to serve the needs of our members. We believe the initiatives Trevor will undertake for Addison United will help us provide the best possible programs for our players and member families. Our goal is for his player and coaching development initiatives to become self-sustaining within Addison United. In addition, we hope they help build a more collaborative culture between our club and the local soccer community. Please join us in welcoming Trevor to the Addison United family. | |
